Finding the highest selling eBay items is a must if you want to be successful as an eBay seller. I learned many years ago, that it is easier to make a profit on eBay if you are selling items that are in high demand. This article will explain one of the best ways to find out what the highest selling eBay items are and where to find a reliable low cost source of these items.
First - There are many different analytical tools that will help you find the hottest selling items on eBay at any given time. Many of the tools cost a monthly fee, but one of my favorite tools is free. Actually it is provided by eBay. It is called eBay Pulse. This tool can be found on eBay’s web site and is very easy to use. Basically it will show you the top ten searches within a given eBay item category. So if you want to find out what the top ten selling automobiles are on eBay motors then you can use eBay Pulse. If you want to drill down to more specific categories then you can search this way too. Is this the only tool I use to determine which items are in most demand? No, but it is one that I use frequently because it is free and is very easy to use.
Second – Once you find a high selling item on eBay or at least an item that is in high demand, then you must find a reliable low cost wholesale source of the product or a dropshipper. I like to use dropshippers because I don’t have to buy the item first. The way dropshipping works is I list the item for sale first. Then if it sells, I buy the product from the dropshipper and they ship the product to my customer. What a deal! I don’t have to worry about shipping the product or getting stuck with a product I can’t sell. Finding a dropshipper that you can rely on is difficult. There are many scam artists on the internet.
