Is Internet Marketing for Everyone?
This is a question that has been going around some of the forums I subscribe to and browse on a daily basis. Some people say “NO” IM is not for everyone and “NO” it cannot be taught unless the person has a specific skill set. Well, it is true that 95% of the people that try internet marketing do fail but I believe that is because they don’t put in the time to see the results. This is not an easy, get rich quick business to get into. This is actually probably one of the hardest things you could ever do but the end results are probably the most rewarding. If I told you that in 6 months you could be earning $5,000 a month online from the comfort of you home by putting in two to three hours of work a day what would you say. Most people jump for joy and say they will do what it takes….easier said then done. Three months into the work you will feel like it is a big waste of time. You have no sales, you get about 20 hits to your website a day and you feel like a worthless bum. This is where most people quit…bad idea as far as I am concerned.
Anyone…yes I said anyone, with a little internet experience, I said little, can make it if they put in the time and follow a strict set of rules. Build a website (blogs work too, and they are completely free). Sell a product; this could be a PLR (private label rights) or an affiliate product from clickbank. Submit your site to search engines and put the site into your signature block if you belong to forums. The next step is crucial, write articles and submit them to article sites. They do not have to be perfect and you don’t have to be a genius to do this. Write two articles a day…submit to three sites (go to Google and look up article submissions sites). This will build great links back to your site. Do this for six months and you will make money…Guaranteed!!
The headline of this article states “Is internet marketing for everyone?” and I have to say that it is for anyone who can put in the time and anyone who really wants to be independent and work from home. With a little elbow grease and a few hours a day I think anyone can make it.
