Does Article Marketing Work? How to Write Articles That Convert Like Crazy

Does article marketing work? How many articles to you need to write to make a profit? Can you really write “one article a day” and make a REAL online income that matters? If you are anything like most of the people who enjoy our articles on article marketing and free traffic, the simple truth is that you’ve asked yourself the preceding questions on MORE than one occasion. As a matter of fact, as someone who has used article marketing to generate millions of visitors to my content, there are still facts that you NEED to know if you truly want to succeed with this spectacular traffic strategy.

Here are the key points you NEED to write articles that TRULY convert like crazy:

Your Titles are the TOP point on the totem pole of importance. I don’t care HOW good your content is…..if you’re writing tepid titles, you aren’t going to get nearly the amount of views you deserve. (hint….the LONGER your titles, the more they stand out and ultimately get opened over those of your competition)

Your Resource Box is super important as well: It amazes me how many people write resource boxes that focus on THEM. Don’t use pictures of yourself in a tank top, don’t use a picture in front of your car or in sunglasses…and don’t’ tell people how many high school awards you’ve won, or how many years you’ve worked from home. The truth? As cynical as it may sound….NO ONE cares about you, or me, or any other author. They want the proverbial “what’s in it for ME….” and the only way you’ll get them to click is to make sure you’ve got something that is.

Keywords are important…..but write for humans. I like to front load my keywords when writing articles….simply because I find they get better placement on the search engines thereafter. But once you’ve got your keywords accounted for in the title……don’t pay ANY more attention to how often you include them in the article at all. (for example….in this article I’ve targeted “does article marketing work”…and included it one extra time in the first sentence, but that’s it.)

Nothing is more telling of an amateur article marketing “guru” than writing long treatises on optimal keyword frequency or occurrence ratio’s. The simple truth? It’s all just a guess……and in my view, FAR less important than crafting copious amounts of entertaining, engaging and enlightening articles that compel your reader to want to learn more. (which…at the end of the day, is really the whole point of writing the articles in the first place.)
