Creating leaders with attitude from your easy free network marketing leads takes action.Even in this day of free internet advertising, surveys still show that 80% to 90% over everyone in MLM comes in as the result of talking with a friend or family member. That surprises me, but it doesn’t astonish me. People often follow the recommendation of someone they trust. If it’s not a trusted friend, chances of them following the recommendation decrease dramatically. So to achieve your MLM goals, you really need a network of friends to talk to.
If you start your business without that network, that is OK. But you’ve got to create your network in order to have much success. It’s just like when you stock a pool with fish. Chances are you’ll be a lot luckier fishing in a loaded pond than in a pond with no fish. In the case of MLM, a “fish” is someone with whom you have first built a relationship. You don’t do that by selling them something. You build relationships by talking with people and offering them something that brings value into their life. And then offer them something else. Find out exactly what they want, and bring that to them. That’s the way to create trust, build a network of people who value your friendship and will follow your lead. If you don’t have that group of people who trust you, success is very difficult in MLM or in life.
Think about your real target market for new people to build your network marketing business. Obviously there are lots of possibilities. veteran mail-order dealers have spent years learning how to target the best prospects to mail to. And in that business, it is very, very expensive to make a mistake when you mail. These guys would tell you that the number 1 factor in their success isn’t the mailing piece they send out – it is the names on the list they mail to. And this may sound really strange, but the number one criteria to be able to predict whether a person will buy is, has this person bought the same thing before? I know that seems very counterintuitive, but it is the truth.
Mail order dealers who know what they’re doing mail exclusively to people who have already bought the exact same thing, or something very similar. Why would that work? Because this is a prospect who has stood up as a person interested in exactly what you are selling. In network marketing are NOT the general public. your best prospects are those who have been in MLM before and are still looking for the opportunity that will give them the success they want.
You know what it’s like when you walk onto a car lot and out of nowhere, a salesman is on you like glue? Some of them talk non-stop and some of them just watch your every move but his job is to sell you a car. Period. How does that feel?
